My dream of going to Africa.

When I studied at school I liked to read about the wars that had occurred in the world, the causes of war and its consequences. When I read what happened in those years I could not understand how human beings can do so much damage to each other. Little by little I'm interested in social problems in the world: health, education, poverty, social differences, among other things.

One day I had to do a job at the school on the African continent and compared with Chile, from that day on I became interested in everything that happened on the African continent.

I began to read everything that was connected with Africa and when I read about the history of slavery, suffering and grief, I could not understand why life was so different for some people. I know that worldwide there are many people suffering for various reasons but the Africa continent suffers more than half of its people every day.

It is for this reason that I proposed to try to help these people. I thought that a good way to help was considering a health career and so what I did, I studied Obstetrics and am fulfilling my goals.

I've been here two years to a country called Ghana, is a very beautiful country has many natural resources to exploit, but the impact left by the civil wars in the continent and forgotten that other wealthy countries of the world does not allow that these people continue with their progress. But here I am and will continue, helping thousands of children die every day from hunger and diseases that are deadly here, but in other parts of the world no longer exist.

For my part I will work hard to continue to help this beautiful people, I know that some day everyone will look to Africa for what it is: a land fertile with a footprint of its terrible past, but with a bright future ahead.

I am very happy for you.
is true that no longer exist deveria the differences between
people, but unfortunately even in the XXI century still occur
I think it is very important to do something to eliminate them
