My ideal Job.

The ideal job for me would be in a place away from the big cities, where you need my help to improve the living conditions of people.
The geographic location could be in the far north or south of Chile, Central America or Africa, places with beautiful environments, places full of nature and animals. In these places there are people who need a health care professional worry about them every day, people who really appreciate what you can do for them, and that is what I seek, which will help me serve people who most need. In the career that study, patients generally can be women, but if I work in a remote place not many professionals so often I'll have to see other patients, for example, children, men and persons the elderly.

The position that I want to have very clear I have not, but always you want to be the best you can .. If I can be my own boss would be ideal, but if it will work to do. Also, if I can not get to be boss I like to have some degree of expertise to provide better train people with my knowledge.

Have responsibilities within the work would be ideal, so that one does not forget that our work touches the lives of people and any mistake can affect a mother, children and family.

On the timing, if I work in a place where one is the main support for the population, there are no time frames, that I should be for when people need me at all times and they will accommodate my schedule, but if emergency room if they are things that are not so serious it would be ideal to work in the day with a continued schedule and two days a week free.

Finally, I want to say that this project I'd like to do but not if you really can ... and if I get to hopefully make it for about five years, because then I have a family and maybe a place like that decscribi not ideal for a family and raise children

NEVER FORGET THAT WE DO NOT WORK FOR THE PEOPLE!

My dream of going to Africa.

When I studied at school I liked to read about the wars that had occurred in the world, the causes of war and its consequences. When I read what happened in those years I could not understand how human beings can do so much damage to each other. Little by little I'm interested in social problems in the world: health, education, poverty, social differences, among other things.

One day I had to do a job at the school on the African continent and compared with Chile, from that day on I became interested in everything that happened on the African continent.

I began to read everything that was connected with Africa and when I read about the history of slavery, suffering and grief, I could not understand why life was so different for some people. I know that worldwide there are many people suffering for various reasons but the Africa continent suffers more than half of its people every day.

It is for this reason that I proposed to try to help these people. I thought that a good way to help was considering a health career and so what I did, I studied Obstetrics and am fulfilling my goals.

I've been here two years to a country called Ghana, is a very beautiful country has many natural resources to exploit, but the impact left by the civil wars in the continent and forgotten that other wealthy countries of the world does not allow that these people continue with their progress. But here I am and will continue, helping thousands of children die every day from hunger and diseases that are deadly here, but in other parts of the world no longer exist.

For my part I will work hard to continue to help this beautiful people, I know that some day everyone will look to Africa for what it is: a land fertile with a footprint of its terrible past, but with a bright future ahead.

Education and Prevention

I believe that education is the foundation of a nation, because education is given to people who build the future of a country, we must remember that in Chile, according to the Ministry of Education: Ensure 12 years of schooling for all children and youth of our country, Is the commitment by the State to pass the new law of "12 years of schooling" that provides secondary education free and compulsory. That said it is clear that all types of people can be educated, but in what areas we can educate the public?

There are many areas in which they can educate the population from what is taught in school, such as math, Castilian, history, among other up as you can lead a healthy life.

In the area of health, education and prevention are a topic of great importance, because through education that gives people preventable diseases in our society. In general, in the area of medicine each issue focuses on a specific risk population, which must be related to the subject matter being taught.

To give a good education, educated people should be interested in the topic and should be related to lifestyle, as if there was no interest on the part of the population is very difficult for the person to acquire the knowledge, so to educate the population in the area in which programs must be employed bold and focused on the problem of risk group to which we will education. In health, there are many issues that would be good to teach, for example, nutrition, sexual education, as to lead a healthy life, among others. All these topics are applicable to general population, and that everyone should know how to lead a healthy and responsible sexual and nutritional field to prevent current diseases such as SIDA and obesity. While these topics are taught the population to prevent disease also can educate people who already have the disease, being more focused and trying to change behavior in diseases can be reversed, as in the case of obesity. In Chile, there are now educational programs for different topics in the field is the player ''Chile Grows with You program''in the field of nutrition there are several programs designed by INTA, such as ''obesity prevention Child'',where it comes from childhood to educate as eating a healthy diet accompanied by physical activity.

As we see, everyone Can Be Educated on many topics, Which in the health sector to Prevent diseases AIMS That Can Bring the Irresponsible Behavior That We carry every day. In particular, I would like to teach women how to lead a healthy diet, since the woman is one who can make the change in the habits of his family and in order to reduce obesity rates in the country. On the other hand, I like to teach teenagers how to prevent unwanted pregnancies, and that strikes me as girls become pregnant every day with no reason to bring a life into this world which is not to blame the circumstances in which it has been conceived that often are not ideal.

Not forget that according to the ONU,''all persons are born free and equal in dignity and rights They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards the one with the other.''

Gender Role in health care

Chilean society has always been known for being a chauvinist society,in which the man always had greater importance than women; man can access to public works, access to education and even had''moral''privileges that women not had, for example, Women should not be questioning whether the man was unfaithful or beat his wife. The wife was not to talk back to her husband and serve you ought to worry about, was to look after children and home. Today, some things have changed since the feminist movement that occurred in the twentieth century women have taken a great importance in the global society, even in Chilean society that still has chauvinist characteristics have evolved in some aspects;now women can acces to public works, has the right to vote and access to education, among others. This last point is of such significance that in recent years to enter state universities a greater number of women than men.
In the healtharea, there are similarities between genres; Both men and women hold very important and can access them at your professional history regardless of gender, The same goes for wages, these do not differ as a man or woman, but rather is a difference between a career and other professional development or the person has had. In this area, I think that if they carry the front man, they are more consistent and courageous to take challenges, regardless of age. Also, women are generally beginning to worry more about his family so often overlooked professional development.
In general, I think that society has more trust in a man than a woman, except in the area of Obstetrics and nursing that are races that have always been more associated with women, where it yields more confidence men.
But what I said above may reflect that we have come and left a little chavinist aside in our society but is still an issue that we must keep working every day to improve as a country.
