Blog 1-My favorite book.

My favorite book does not really know what it is, but if there is a book I really liked the way the writer told the story so real that when I read it I thought what he said and gave me grief, joy or anger as she was telling the writer.

The book is called''Santa Maria of the black flowers,''the Chilean writer Hernán Rivera Letelier, I really liked this book because it has some of the important history of Chile and the writer tells the story from the point of view a person who suffers from what is happening. The topic of this book is about the years that were the nitrate in Chile, about how they lived their workers and how to end a strike that workers were demanding better living conditions and ended with one of the worst massacres that existed in our country the twentieth century. The real so the book was written, is what made me like so much, I imagine each scene and suffered the pain of the characters.

The book I read when I was in college, I was in first or second means that the history teacher wanted will reason about the difficult lives of men of nitrate, so I had to read it. At first I thought it was boring but when I started reading, I realized that was very good and I loved it.

The aspects that struck me is how a book can have as good part of the history of a country from a character, which has a very good way all their thoughts and feelings with what is telling and living.

It is a book I recommend to all people who like history in general, and especially of our country. Also if you are interested to do with our society and way of life of Chileans over the years, which has changed a lot since we are an independent country.
